Public Sector eTraining (PSeT) signifies any systematic strategy and process to train public servants and other relevant stakeholders through digital media including the Internet, CBT, Multimedia tutorials, etc. As a new paradigm for training, transitioning from the richness of traditional instructor-led training to promising future of e-Training and blended programs need not be a traumatic experience. This conference will chart a path for a such a transition by taking a realistic, case-intensive approach to integrating technologies, methodologies, partnerships and culture within an overall governance framework to build a solid foundation for e-Training in the GCC countries. The different workshop themes of e-Train 2010 will endeavor to present best practices in different areas of Public Service e-Training and provide participants with an opportunity to sketch their e-training strategy.
