Collaborative Learning is a form of learning concerned with the collaboration among users. It is designed for faculty and groups of learners to fulfil learning objectives of groups and learners, through sharing resources or interaction.

Currently there is only one group devoted to this standardization area, but other proposals (e.g., Educational Modelling Languages) also consider collaboration issues in their proposals.
